When I was little, my grandfather built a new house and had a huge room that had 3 bunk beds and built in drawers in the walls. I remember getting so excited whenever we were about to make a trip there because I LOVED staying in the "Kid's Room" - not a very creative name, I know, but when you are little you often just use the most obvious title for things =). Getting to stay there with all of my siblings and cousins was soooo much fun and we were always fighting over the top bunk - not sure why, though. Looking at some of these photos makes me think falling off the top bunk could kills someone - yikes! Several years ago I saw a picture in a magazine of an absolutely amazing room that had all of these bunk beds built into the walls and each one had a little shelf and sconce and little curtains to pull closed. It reminded me so much of a more elaborate and modern take on the room from my childhood that I loved so dearly. It was not only GORGEOUS but the coolest thing I had ever seen and ever since I have dreamed of someday having a home where I could have a room like that. Not sure how likely that is to ever happen, but a girl can dream, right? Anyway, I went to scan in that photo last night and couldn't find in anywhere! Ahhhhh - I have all of my binders neatly organized (except for the pages that I have ripped out in the last year since Lillie has arrived - those are all stuffed in a drawer =).....so I don't know what I did with it. I must have taken it out at some point to photocopy and not put it back in the right spot. I did have several others, though, that I had saved as well as a bunch I had bookmarked online so I will share all of those with you. I am hoping the original photo I saw years ago will turn up eventually and I will add it to this post. Looking at these, doesn't it just make you want to be a kid again and go on a trip to your grandparents! Ahhhhh......
I love the gorgeous mix of white, blue and green on this one. It is so crisp and clean and I LOVE the curtains on each little bunk.
I love the layout of this one with the little ladder in the middle and the rails on the top bunks!
Okay, so these aren't bunk beds but they are built-in! This photo might be my favorite!
How cute is this one? I love the curves on the top bunk!
How cool is the architecture of this one! I love the framing around each bed!!!!
I love the sconce and built in bookshelf!
Okay, so this one is gorgeous, but I would be scared to death to sleep on that top bunk!

I have had some of these ripped out or downloaded for a while now and am not sure where they originally came from. If anyone knows, please feel free to let me know and I will add the info.
And here are a few pictures of Miss Lillabel on Sunday as we were headed out the door for church. I wanted to sit her down and take some "pretty" shots as it was a gorgeous day out, but we were running late so I was snapping these as Jon was rushing me out the door =) Poor little thing is sick AGAIN! She had a high fever again yesterday and now has a nasty cough and runny nose today. I cannot wait for spring!
